Anime Commemorating Tokyo Station's 100th Anniversary Review

Tokyo Station serves as the backdrop for a lot of nostalgic memories, life changing events for workers and also travelers. So A-1 Pictures produce an anime made to commemorate Tokyo Station’s 100th birthday. It was filled with both comforting looks back at the past and hopeful expectations for the future. A-1 Pictures was a well known animation company, which has been involved with such fan favorites as Big Windup!, Black Butler, Fairy Tail, Blue Exorcist, and Sword Art Online.
The anime short tells the story of a family love through time, focusing on main character Misaki's trip to Tokyo Station in order to repair a broken pocket watch belonging to her late father. After learning the watch repair shop is no longer at the station, she sees a station employee who resembles her father and chases after him. Finally, through a twist of fate, Misaki find what she’s looking for, plus a little something more. She found the watchmen shop and he told about her father past and she is the most important person in his life.
As the starting of this short anime, we can see a bright and a little bit like fantasy light in this scene. They want to show about how she try to recall her memory with her father and the time that they did not have time to talk much.
The stroke of light coming from window inside a dark room can portray a loneliness and sad emotion in her mother character. She sit in the dark while looking through the old picture of her family.
The bright light again from the front door of the Train Station also indicate something memorable in the past and it focus on that pocket watch.
This two scene below show the different tone of colour inside the Tokyo Train Station. The first colour was yellow and it show the whole environment inside the building of Tokyo Station. The second picture show the purple colour to show the privilege of memory she had in this station.
The three picture below have a yellow,orange and look like a golden colour for that scene. It show when the main character learn about the story of her father and this colour represent the beauty and refinement towards her feeling. It's also show the spiritual and the feeling of blessing she got from her late father. She also finally gain her happiness and have a memorable memory with her late father here.
